We are a band from Colombia, born in October of 2010. The band name has to do with mental prisons ... product of pathological society, sick, in which we live.

Vishal - What are the lyrical themes you use in your song?gore, horror, politics, anti religion etc..
Angela - In our songs we talk about pathological society of which we are part and the mental structures which sometimes constitutes, the dissociation of the thoughts, feelings and language, that the effect of the denial ends up being transformed or substituted, by providing for some a distorted reality.

Vishal - How it feels to be in a Underground band? And for how many years you are in this scene?
Angela - Well, personally I have about 13 years of being part of the scene and be part of Perverse Suffering and play drums, have offered me great satisfaction, it’s very nice to be part of a project which places the woman as an individual, more dynamic, within the scene.

Vishal - Which are the bands that have influenced your band most?
Angela - The sound of the band has a clear influence of old school death metal, but also of the brutal death metal, to some extent hahaha ... maybe our principal influence is Suffocation, but we love Morbid Angel, Deicide, Dismember, Death, Grave, Master, Massacre (USA), Unleashed, Obituary, Vital Remains, Internal Suffering, Gorefest, Severe Torture, Cannibal Corpse, Disgorge .. . and many more ... mmm is difficult to choose among so many excellent bands hahaha.

Vishal - What are the future plans of Perverse Suffering? any tours, releases, recordings etc.

Vishal - How do you feel about the classifications in metal? like deathcore, metalcore and other subgenres..
Angela - Well, we can find everywhere classifications starting from the characteristics of its elements ... the music is no exception to that rule and that does not exclude to metal music ... I think the differences that emerge starting from this, in response to lack of tolerance and respect of some ... I think if you really are underground ... You do not should be interested ... to prove to anyone that you are.

Vishal - In general term metal isn't appreciated by Society what do you have to say on this?
Angela - Nothing ... it should be, that is the reason, that the metal is underground music, because it is not for all ears, not to all minds.

Vishal - Ok, what do you want to tell those peoples who rips off the band hard work and illegally downloads their music?
Angela - mmm ... that kind of person abounds ... they are the parasites of the escene ... they are not true headbanging ... only are personages who come and go ... a person who really appreciates this music, enjoys the whole art of the building of a piece of metal music and want to have the original work of the bands he likes.

Vishal - Beside Perverse Suffering do you have any other projects too?
Angela - No, for the moment, no.

Vishal - Is it hard surviving in underground Scene?
Angela - Of course it is, you really have to love what do you do, to stand firm and continue ... This is about having passion for what do you do and never to doubt it.

Vishal - Metal has to be underground or metal has to go mainstream, what's your opinion?
Angela - I think the scene should be strengthen and grow but respecting his essence.

Vishal - Which is the album you want to take to your grave?
Angela - I think I would take my entire CD collection hahaha… but if I had to choose, I would choose: Bathory - Blood, Fire, Death ... Death - Scream Bloody Gore ... Deicide - Legion ... Morbid Angel - Domination.
