Suchu - What are you doing nowadays?
Dip - (Drummer at Torture Goregrinder): Nowadays doing live gigs to spread our music. It feels amazing.

Suchu - Can i get the story of your band and biography? What is the meaning of Torture Goregrinder to the band?
Dip : Torture goregrinder actual means, Such a implement by which bloodshed occurs by persecution.

        Biography-
WE ARE A GUTTURAL SLAMMING GOREGRGIND DEATH METAL BAND FROM BANGLADESH. WHICH WAS STARTED ON JULY 14th, 2010. WE ARE INTERESTED TO CREATE NEW FUCKING ERA IN BANGLADESHI UNDERGRUOND MUSIC.THE HISTORY OF TORTURE GOREGRINDER GOES WAY BACK WHEN THE VOCALIST DANIAL SICK USED TO SING FOR SOME UNDERGROUND DEATH METAL BANDS IN DHAKA. BUT HIS ACTUAL TASTE IN MUSIC WAS SLAM DEATH OR SLAMMING BRUTAL DEATH METAL AND HE WANTED TO DO THIS PARTICULAR GENRE IN BANGLADESH CAUSE NO BAND HAVE TRIED THIS ONE BEFORE. IN HIS FIRST ATTEMPTS HE FAILED TO GATHER THE DESIRED PEOPLE WHO WERE CAPABLE OF PLAYING IN THIS PARTICULAR GENRE. AFTER MANY SEARCHES HE ASKED TAWKIR KHAN JOY TO PLAY GUITARS. IN THE MEANTIME JOY WAS PLAYING WITH DANIAL WITH ANOTHER BAND CALLED ROSHAYON. HE ALSO RECRUITED ANOTHER MEMBER FROM ROSHAYON NAMED FAYSAL TO JOIN FORCES WITH JOY IN THE GUITAR SECTION. AFTER THE TWO GUITARISTS FILLED IN, IT WAS TIME THEY NEEDED A GOOD DRUMMER FOR THE INTENSE DRUMMING. FORTUNATELY THEY RECRUITED DIP ROY FROM A BAND CALLED CHAKROBYUHO. AFTER THAT THEY STARTED JAMMING AND MOVED ON UNTIL THEY CAME TO A TIME WHEN THEY THOUGHT OF NEEDING A BASSIST. UNSUCCESSFUL OF FINDING A GOOD BASSIST CAPABLE TO FIT THE GENRE, THEY RECRUITED ASHFAQ. AFTER COUPLE OF GIGS UNFORTUNATELY FAYSAL LEFT THE BAND FOR SOME PERSONAL REASONS AND THEN THEY CONTINUED WITH JOY FOR SOME SHOWS. AFTER SOME SHOWS THEY THOUGHT THEY NEEDED TO COMPOSE SOME OF THEIR OWN STUFF JUST TO GIVE THE GENRE A STAND IN THE UNDERGROUND COMMUNITY. OVEE, THEN PLAYING IN A BAND CALLED GRACE CONTACTED DANIAL AND SHOWED HIS KEEN INTEREST IN JOINING THE BAND AND FILLING IN AS THE BASSIST. DANIAL AND THE OTHERS AGREED AND OVEE STARTED JAMMING WITH FULL FORCE WITH THE BAND AND CONSECUTIVELY THE BAND CAME UP WITH THE DEBUT TRACK MOGOJE GORVOPAT (???????????). AFTER THE RELEASE OF THE DEMO OF MOGOJE GORVOPAT SOME PORTION OF THE LISTENERS TOOK THE SONG POSITIVELY AND ENCOURAGED THE BAND TO MOVE ON AND SOME PORTIONS OF THE LISTENERS DIDN'T COMPLETELY TAKE IT. THE BAND HAD MANY CRITISISMS REGARDING THE GENRE AND THE MUSICAL STYLES. THEY HAD ALSO MANY OBSTACLES FINDING THEIR PLACE IN THE SMALL PORTION OF THE EXTREME METAL LISTENERS OF BANGLADESH AS ONLY SMALL PROPORTIONS KNEW WHAT SLAM DEATH ACTUALLY MEANT AND SOUNDED LIKE. AND THE BAND KNEW THAT PIONEERING A SPECIFIC EXTREME GENRE IN A COUNTRY LIKE BANGLADESH IS HARD. IN THE MID OF MARCH 2015 , THE BAND GOT ENLISTED IN WIKIPEDIA'S LIST OF SLAM DEATH METAL BANDS AROUND THE WORLD AND ENLISTED IN Encyclopedia Metallum: The Metal Archives
AND IT MADE THEM MORE COURAGIOUS. NOW THEY HAVE RELEASED THEIR DEBUT ALBUM ''FATAL GONORRHEA DISFIGUREMENT JANUARY 5TH 2017.

Suchu - What are the lyrical themes you use in your song? Gore, horror, politics, anti religion etc..
Dip: The lyric theme, represent what the slammy genre about psychopath. We mainly focus on brutality, gore, serial killing, faithless, perversion etc. and things that are related with them. In one word, we mainly focus on all the negative aspects of a person’s life.

Suchu - How it feels to be in an Underground band? And for how many years you are in this scene?
Dip: Obviously its feel very special. Underground music has so much inner definition. But we believe this the place, from where to learn a lot of things. Still a long way to go, But as an underground band we like to hear that and we've been there for 4 years in this scene.

Suchu - Which are the bands that have influenced your band most?
Dip: Cannibal Corpse, Dying Fetus, Suffocation, Devourment, Severe Torture, and Necrophagist
Suchu - What are the future plans of Torture Goregrinder? Any tours, releases, recordings etc.
Dip: Umm we've so many plans. Cause we have to spread our music all over our country. its very important. People yet haven’t enough idea about slam death metal in our country. So we'll doing live gigs in our land and making new stuff for upcoming split album. If there are tour in front we'll let know our by Facebook page.

Suchu - How do you feel about the classifications in metal? Like deathcore, metalcore and other subgenres..
Dip: Every people have own taste. SO classification in metal music is very important issue. I feel very glad that metal music have so many limb. we like deathcore and other stuff, Those who don't want to hear their disrelish song, I always say don’t need to hear that. But don't criticize any genre in public place or social network.

Suchu - In general term metal isn't appreciated by Society what do you have to say on this?
Dip: Those who run the society, they themselves do many misdeeds. So Metal music shows to right thing to local culture or society. Its very common issue they don't accept this type of ritual because If they accept it, their individualism will not succeed. So we have to do that.

Suchu - What is your opinion on sites posting Underground Materials?
Dip: First of all people can discover new face and new music. If the band from another country it will wondrous. So that local people or daily reader population can understand What do they want to do and what is their purpose? After that i think more support will come from mainstream music.

Suchu - Ok, what do you want to tell those peoples who rips off the band hard work and illegally downloads their music?
Dip: Just one thing ''Fuck you guys'' I mean creating music its like giving birth to a baby. Mother had such trouble as to give birth to a child Just like musicians make a lot of trouble to create music. On the other hand if the band allows to download songs, Its there personal issue.

Suchu - Beside Torture Goregrinder do you have any other projects you have? If then, Can you tell us about those projects in few words?
Dip: Yes i have another project. I have another band called "Chaukrobyuho'' Total modern thrash metal act. We are working on our full-length album. Also we doing live gigs.

Suchu - Is it hard surviving in underground Scene?
Dip: If you have guts u can survive. Underground metal music scene believe, As much as you have lot of money and lot of good gear, but if u can't play original stuff clearly, your band or your reputation will down. So in one word "NO GUTS NO GLORY (Bolt thrower)''

On the other hand, its very hard to survive in underground scene. Cause those who are organize the show, they don’t get sponsor from any side. Cause The sponsor community and local security get terrified when they heard ''Metal concert''??? They think its degenerate culture. And it will harm society.

Maybe you have seen before. A Reputable Brazilian death metal act ''Krisiun'' it was about coming to the country. Though local metal community called ‘The Metal Morgue’ organized the show. But Sad thing is Krisiun show was not done for the security reason. So as a underground musician I feel its very hard to survive in underground metal scene in our land. But no one can stop us for sure. We will conquer one day.

Suchu - Metal has to be underground or metal has to go mainstream, what's your opinion?
Dip: Metal music has to be underground. I believe an underground band has the ability to gain a significant amount of credibility within the scene, at the expense of a smaller fan base. But when mass people can afford metal music then other steps can be taken.

Suchu - What is your opinion on the current state of underground metal?
Dip: Feel free to say, our underground scene moving towards progress. I have seen metal tides for the last two years. There are so many underground show in different cities like Dhaka/Chittagong/Khulna/Rajhshahi/Sylhet/Rangamati/Noakhali and gradually the mass people can accept it. Positive issue.

Suchu - Which is the album you want to take to your grave?
