Asmita - First of all, thanks a lot for interview, so what are you really looking forward from Nepali underground scene?
Bruno - First of all, thank you for this opportunity.  We played in Dharan in 2016 during our Asia tour and I was impressed with the scene there. A big audience, good production and good hospitality. Good memories and we hope to be back there soon.

Asmita - Can I get the short biography of your band? And what is the meaning of Stone Cutters exactly means to the band?
Bruno - We started the band in 2004. Since then we haven't stopped and been working hard. We have released one Split, EP, and a full album. We just finished our Japan tour to promote our album ”Kill For God”

”Neuroticos” is in Portuguese. It means Neurotic in English.

Asmita - What are the lyrical themes you use in your songs? gore, horror, politics, anti-religion etc..
Bruno -  I write songs about Religions,  wars and violence. But the main focus is about religions that cause wars and violence. one thing connects to another.

Asmita - How it feels to be in a Underground band? And what’s your message to underground community?
Bruno - Underground is our place as we play extreme music. I don't think the genre will ever be “popular” and we don’t care about getting popular. For me bands like Cannibal Corpse or Napalm Death are big, they are the masters of the scene but still in the underground in a good sense.

Asmita - In general term extreme metal isn't appreciated by Society what do you have to say on this?Bruno - That's good. Extreme music is not for systematic society anyway. That's why it is called ”extreme”

Asmita - What is your opinion on the current state of extreme underground music?
Bruno -  Depends what you mean. In Japan, the scene is still good, we have many new bands and many gigs.

Asmita - Can you recommend us some good bands from your place for our readers?
Bruno -  For sure. Some of my favorite bands from Japan are Baked Bomb, Blind Hate, they are both from Hiroshima, and Taste From Sendai. There is a new great band called Invictus from Nagano and Cry from Kanagawa also. Grind fans must check Teathgrinder from Netherlands, and Inhumate from France.

Asmita - Do you remember the feeling of your first show with Stone Cutters? And how did the crowd reacted to your first show?
Bruno -  I remember that it was terrible. We were very young back then and now it makes me laugh about it. But the feeling of being on the stage is unforgettable,  I felt like ” I'm the man, I am on the stage ”  and it was good for the young boy back then.

Asmita - What do you hate in current underground scene?
Bruno - We don't need enemies in the scene, we need friendship to support the underground scene that will be good for everyone. But I think promoters and production are becoming  like rivals.

Asmita - Support Underground Metal, how much you agree on this quote?
Bruno -   I support 100%. But it has to come out naturally, not forced.  Many people ”Try” to be involved in the extreme music but give up.

Asmita - Any thought about touring or playing shows in Nepal and India?
Bruno - we haven't gotten any plans but I really want to go back to Nepal again. And we have never played in India, that will be insane!

Asmita - Lastly, a space for you anything EUMSN have forgotten to ask you can tell us here?
Bruno - Thank you again for this opportunity. Please check and follow our website including other links. Hope to see you guys soon, cheers.
