Asmita - First of all, thanks a lot for interview, so what are you really looking forward from Nepali
underground scene?

Gyakuki - At first, we want audience to have fun our show, and we want to see shows of other bands. We want to have good connection with other bands and audience.

Asmita - Can I get the short biography of your band? And what is the meaning of Gyakuki exactly means to the band?

Gyakuki- Biography

     2016 : Gyakuki was formed. In 2016, Member of Gyakuki were アヤト(Vo.), OB(Gt.),and Muña(Dr).Just composing and Jamming.

     2017 : Gyakuki had many shows with Japanese death metal bands. And 類(Ba.) joined Gyakuki. Relesed 1st demo CD "膿爛(Nouran) ".

     2018 : In 2018, Gyakuki had many shows with Japanese death metal bands,too. Relesed 2nd demo CD "怨毒(Endoku) ". First presented gig.

     2019 : Having many shows with Japanese death metal bands. Relesed 3rd demo CD "未成仏(Mijyoubutsu) ". Second presented gig with a member of Mexican Goregrind band in Japan.

     Gyakuki means a Yokai(ghost) in China. Gyakuki torments human with malaria. Our band expresses pains,grudges,and sadnesess of human.

Asmita -  What are the lyrical themes you use in your songs? gore, horror, politics, anti religion etc..

Gyakuki - Our lyrical themes are pains,grudges,and sadnesses of human. All lyrics by アヤト(Vo.),and are what アヤト experienced in reality.

Asmita - How it feels to be in a Underground band? And what’s your message to underground
community?

Gyakuki - We love underground bands and community. We wanna enjoy with other underground bands without countries and liven up the community.

Asmita -  In general term extreme metal isn't appreciated by Society what do you have to say on this?

 Gyakuki - Extreme metal scene don't need to be appreciated by society. It should express what human look away.


Asmita - What is your opinion on the current state of extreme underground music?

Gyakuki - We think extreme metal music is more acceptable than before.We want it to be active.


Asmita - Can you recommend us some good bands from your place for our readers?

 Gyakuki - Gorevent, Disconformity, Rest In Gore, SETE STAR SEPT, Myocardial Infarction, 猿轡, Tentacle Centipede.etc...


Asmita - Do you remember the feeling of your first show with Gyakuki? and how did the crowd reacted to your first show?

Gyakuki - That was terrible !!!!! The show had no genre so the crowd had no interesting with extreme metal music.

Asmita - What do you hate in current underground scene?

Gyakuki - In Japan,bands in extreme metal scene only get on with certain bands.


Asmita - Support Underground Metal, how much you agree on this quote?

Gyakuki - We have never thought about money cost for supporting underground metal. If it is meaningful. we'll pay.


Asmita - Any thought about touring or playing shows in Nepal and India?

Gyakuki - Sure !!! We wanna have shows more.


Asmita - Lastly, a space for you anything EUMSN have forgotten to ask you can tell us here?

 Gyakuki - We play Japanese brutal death metal with Buddhist altar fittings. Check it !!
