Interview with The Neighborhood Thrashers for Thrashmandu 2 2019

Whatever we have written till date is just a product what we and how we perceive our city and our environment.

Eumsn - First of all, thanks a lot for choosing to play in Nepal and India next, so what are you really looking forward from Nepali supporters?
Straight Edge : Well, to be fair and square this will be our second outstation gig. We have heard about the huge response Kathmandu holds for all of its underground gigs and we are excited as fuck to attend and obviously play for our brothers across the brother. As for expectations, we will deliver some old school crossover thrash and we hope to get you guys moshing and doing all kinda crazy shit you can.
Eumsn - Can I get the short biography on band? And what is the meaning of TNT  exactly means to the band?
Straight Edge : Cazz Bhai and I started jamming towards the end of 2015 and brainstorming on ideas and riffs. Shortly after we found Assholeman and Boba. We had our debut gig in the year 2016 at a small underground gig organised by our city's finest punk rock regime, "Calcutta Punk Society".  The band moved on to record our first single, "Machine Mankind" with Assholeman on vox. In 2018 however Assholeman left the and it was I who took up the job for vox duties and since then the band is a three member setup.
TNT stands for "The Neighborhood Thrashers". The name was conjured up by Assholeman and me. All four of us are immense comic book fans and the word "Friendly Neighborhood" rings to our minds when we see our Web-slinging buddy from Queens. He was an ordinary guy like us. Like him we belong to the streets and this is where we grew up. Our small neighborhood of a town and we wish to thrash when we can!
Eumsn - What are the lyrical themes you use in your song? gore, horror, politics, anti religion etc..
Straight Edge : Lyrical themes? Hmm. That's a tough one to explain given the categories of political, horror, gore, etc. We are none of them. There is no chief lyricist in our band, we just keep brainstorming ideas and the lyrics come up instantly. There is no definite theme to our lyrics but yes if I had to categorize it I'd like to call it a more anti-social approach to what we despise. Machine Mankind was a song written as how a man is entrapped in the corporate world, Children of the Trend is about how technology is fucking up the minds of the youth, Hellhole is about how substance abuse can make you lose yourself. There is definitely no theme. We write what we find relevant to us.
Eumsn - How it feels to be in a Underground band? And what’s your suggestions to other underground bands?
Cazz Bhai : Ya, it feels awesome to be a part of an underground form of art, Metal. It means every reason to bang our instruments to drain our negative energy which we gather throughout the day, everywhere. The purity of the music which we produce is the most satisfying thing to experience, ever. Frankly if need to suggest then, to the kids who are starting out to form bands, focus more on music, don't turn your passion into a fashion. I may sound damn serious but at the end of the day it's again the bitter truth. Finally, drink lots of beer if your parents aren't strict. Lol.
Eumsn - In general term extreme metal isn't appreciated by Society what do you have to say on this?
Cazz Bhai : You know the truth is always bitter to listen. Mass population of most of the countries are dumb to be honest. They can only follow a way which is followed by everyone, irrespective of judgement. Same follows with heavy metal. Metal as an umbrella term is an genre which grows upon people who have a very different mindset and patience. Opinions can be different but that's what I feel. I am not insulting other forms of music but extreme metal is the most aggressive form of music and naturally it becomes difficult for most of the people to appreciate. To be honest, Metal fans are those who are the blessed.
Eumsn - What is your opinion on the current state of extreme underground music?
Boba : The Underground will always be THERE. there will always be people (though only a handful) who will support the extreme Underground scene buying records, merchandises, attending gigs. The Vinyls and tapes are already making a comeback in the Underground Market. The best way to judge Underground is not to judge it.
Eumsn - Can you recommend us some good bands from your place for our readers?
Straight Edge : Well sure! I'd love to. Being an organiser myself I have a lot of those bands in my list. Starting off, you already know two of the best headed your way. Dreadhammer and Mustang are prepared to decimate all of you. Then there is our city's only hardcore punk band, Blakhole. They've been around for quite a long time. There is also Mortar, one of the pioneers of Kolkata old school thrash regime. Then you guys have already met one of the oldest thrash band of our city, Armament. There is also war-metal mongers, Kapala. There is Aparthiva Raktadhara, Mishanter, In Human, Vulgustrike, Necrocomicon.
Eumsn - Do you remember the feeling of your first show with TNT? and how did the crowd reacted to your first show?
Cazz Bhai : Oh yes. The first show of TNT was also my first stage experience. The crowd was brilliant. The adrenalin pump and rush within, is the best feeling while on stage. So the feeling for the first time stage with TNT was similar to any high dosage drug I guess! I think everyone in the band has a say regarding this..
Eumsn - What do you hate in current underground scene?

Boba : As I have already said, we should not be judgemental regarding the Underground. There is some good, there is some bad. That's how life is. But, yes if you want me to point out an area of improvement then I will say, boys should focus less on technicality and competition, and focus more on making simple songs with great impact that can influence the generation to come.

Come out to catch the band live at Thrashmandu 2 2019 on 26th of April 2019. All bands merchs, event merchs and early bird tickets will be available in our store at Satdobato or call us at 9808195039 or 9808994835.

Interview with Guillaume Béry of Pulmonary Fibrosis (France)

An exclusive interview with Guyome PxFx.

Visit Pulmonary Fibrosis here.

Suchu - What are you doing nowadays?
Guyome : Hi, well i’m tired haha. Working everyday in my job & week-end are full of music & party.

Suchu - Can I get the story of your band or a short biography? What is the meaning of Pulmonary Fibrosis to the band?
Guyome : Well, we started in 1998 as a 2 pieces noisegrindgore band, we released a demo & the first pro release was our split EP/Tape with Ulcerrohea. We had several line-up changes, many split cd’s, tapes, compilations & our first album « Organ Maggots » was recorded in 2006 & released in 2007 by Last House On The Right Rec. Our singer & great friend Pascal hanged himself & we were all shoked. In 2008 we used to change the line-up, still releasing lot of split & the 2nd album was released in 2011 on Mierdas prod in Mexico. In 2014 we started to record our 3rd album & it was released at the beginning of 2016 on Rotten Roll Rex Rec in Germany. Since 1998 we played many changes in Europe, Ukraine, Russia, several times in Brazil, South America, Mexico & Japan. Our name is a lung disease & was taken from a Malignant Tumour song who appeard on their split with Squash Bowels.

Suchu - What are the lyrical themes you use in your song? Gore, horror, politics, anti religion etc.
Guyome : We don’t have any lyrics, only screams & growls. Sometimes we use to sing the song’s name, our old singer Pascal used to sing his own language. But we are mostly into medical stuff, we also like to use different themes on our split, like gore & horrors movies influences.

Suchu - Which bands have influenced your band the most?
Guyome : LAST DAYS OF HUMANITY is the main influence so far. Then bands like Carcass, Haemorrhage, Agathocles, Malignant Tumour, Regurgitate, Cock and Ball Torture & many others.

Suchu - What are the future plan of Pulmonary Fibrosis? Do you have like any tour, releases or recordings?
Guyome : This year we have some great shows in Czech Republic, France, Germany, Belgium, Uk  Spain. We still have some split on the way & we hope to do our first clip at the end of this year. In 2018 we will celebrate our 20 years anniversary & we will be back in South America.

Suchu - How it feels to be in an Underground band? And for how many years you are in this scene?
Guyome : Haha, i don’t know really, we just like to play sick music & people like our stuff. We have lot of pleasure to play with great bands, visiting countries & discover new culture. As i told you we started in 1998, so in 2018 we will celebrate our 20 years, it will be the 10 years of the same line-up too. But once again with our singer, Adrien had a car accident with his wife & daughter, so he had to stop music for now, we really hope to see him back with us asap. Actually, our friends Simon & Fred help us as singer & sometimes as guitarist.

Suchu - How do you feel about the classifications in metal? Like deathcore, metalcore and other subgenres?
Guyome : Well i’m really more into goregrind, but the true one with vocal effects. About metal, i’m into oldschool, metalcore & deathcore aren’t metal for me. But i like brutal death, black metal, doom, dark, etc…in the oldschool way.

Suchu - In general term metal isn't appreciated by Society what do you have to say on this?
Guyome : Metal is a middle class music, that was the fact till 2000 i think, since few years it seems to be a trend as many actual bands use to mix different style like brutal & soft music ; so you can now listen metal on very well known radios & tv clip. As well people from all classes are listening metal now, that’s a good & bad point. But about th grindcore scene, that still underground as it must to be, we are still shoking people.

Suchu - What is your opinion on sites posting Underground Materials?
Guyome : That’s the internet life, you can’t go against, they’re still people to do that. I’m not from the mp3 generation so i still buy records, supporting bands & i hate mp3.

Suchu - Ok, what do you want to tell to those peoples who rip off the band’s hard work and illegally download their music?
Guyome : There will still have people to do that, that’s the way of internet. Our 3rd album wasn’t released & it was already in full streaming. But true underground people buy or trade stuff & in anyway that’s good to be heard.

Suchu - Beside Pulmonary Fibrosis do you have any other projects? If then, Can you tell us about those projects in few words?
Guyome : Yeah i’m very busy with other projects since a longtime. I also play drums in Embryopathia & The Bottle Doom Lazy Band mostly, Baptized In Vaginal Liquid stopped due to lake of time. I played drums on different project like Clotpump, for Mixomatosis. I do noise in Corporal Abuse since 2001 too & i started to do shows. I also have my DIY label called Cataleptic Remains Prod, right now i mostly co-release stuffs & organize show, i did some fest like the Loches en Grind & a very underground one when i have time called the Underground fest. Since a year i play guitar in Rotten, an oldschool death metal band and i’m the owner of The Cripple Room, a studio were i do recording, mixing & mastering undergound bands.

Suchu - How hard is it surviving in underground Scene?
Guyome : It’s not hard to survive, it’s mostly harder to find place to play. Underground is for passion, helping bands on tour & meet new bands is still great.

Suchu - What is your opinion on the current state of underground metal?
Guyome : The actual underground metal scene is getting worse & worse. People & bands just want to be famous & getting money, if they loose too much they stop to play or they don’t want to travel too much for nothing. Music is a passion & you have to do it with your guts & heart, being true with yourself & the public.

Suchu - Which is the album you want to take to your grave?

Guyome : LAST DAYS OF HUMANITY « The Sound of Rancid Juices Sloshing Around Your Coffin ». That was my first goregrind album with « Anatomical Inferno » from Haemorrhage that i surely could bring if i could too haha.

Suchu - Can you recommend us some good bands from your country for our readers?
Guyome : Blue Holocaust, Vomi Noir, Unsu, Defecal Of Gerbe, Savage Annihilation, Inhumate, Blockheads, Depraved, Faxe, Pendrak, Lardon, Sublime Cadaveric Decomposition & many more.

Suchu - Support Underground Metal, how much you agree on this quote?
Guyome : All bands come from the underground, so you have to support it & then some are better than other or just record better music.

Suchu - Where do our readers can buy albums and merchandise or listen to Pulmonary Fibrosis?
Guyome : They can buy stuff from us directly or at shows. They can also buy stuff from our labels Rotten Roll Rex Rec, Grindfather Prod & other grind labels mostly on the web & at shows.

Suchu - Do you remember your first show with Pulmonary Fibrosis, How was it and how did the crowd reacted to your first show?
Guyome : That was a day where we celebrate music in France, so everyone can play, mostly outside. We played just few songs because our first drummer was to shy in the front of people, there was almost only friends & it was funny. It was in a small village so no lot of people & mostly friends who knew us, so not really surprise.

Suchu - Metal Fans from Nepal doesn't have a proper way to reach your records and any other such bands, Is there an easy way so we can also get the hold of CDs, shirts etc.
Guyome : The best way is to buy records on the web or directly to the bands, and of course at shows. There is no other best way i guess.

Suchu - Do you have any plans to come to Kathmandu (Nepal) in coming days? Guyome : Well, i’m in contact with Vishal Vof from the Nepal Deathfest since few years & we still talking about our coming, so we need to fix it asap, we need to come and having fun with you all.
Suchu - What do you hate in Underground Metal? Like, anything.
Guyome : The young bands & people who want to play for lot of money because they released a demo & of course they don’t support underground.

Suchu - Your dream metal fest line up.
Guyome : Well, we already played with almost all our influences & idols haha. But i think i will bring the old time bands, like Carcass, Napalm Death, Last Days Of Humanity, Agathocles, Cock and Ball Torture, Haemorrhage, Regurgitate, Dead Infection, Cannibal Corpse & adding Yearning for the symphonic & depressive beautiful music.

Suchu - Quick top 5 albums we must have in our collection.
Guyome : 1.) Last Days Of Humanity « The Sound Of Rancid Juices Sloshing Around your Coffin ", 2.) Haemorrhage « Grume ». 3.) Carcass « Reek of Putrefaction » 4.) Regurgitate « Effortless Regurgitation of Bright Red Blood » and 5.) Dead Infection «  A Chapter of Accidents »

Suchu - Lastly, a space for you anything EUMSN have forgotten to ask you can tell us here?
Guyome : Well, thanx a lot for your nice interview, thanx to the EUMSN readers & true underground supporters from Nepal. We hope to come soon & meet you all to have fun. Thanx again for the support, cheers !!

Interview with Mustang from India / Thrashmandu 2 2019

On 26th of April 2019 Eumsn and Brutal Pokhara is going to organize the 2nd edition of Thrashmandu 2 here in Kathmandu itself. The festival will feature 4 international bands. We are hopeful that you will show the best possible interest in our event and become a part of this show with us.
"We are too small of a band to suggest something to someone. But we believe in making music"

Visit Mustang here.

Eumsn -  First of all, thanks a lot for choosing to play in Nepal next. So what are you really looking forward to from Nepali supporters?
MustangFirst of all we would like to thank Vishal and all the hard working organizers and crews of EUMSN for giving us this opportunity to perform in Nepal. This is our very first out station gig and it's taking place in Kathmandu, Nepal. I believe you guys can sense our excitement and it's really a huge honor for us to play in front of all those die hard metal maniacs of Kathmandu. We heard lots of tales about the insane crowd of Nepal from our brother's from Armament (India) and Thrash(Bangladesh) when they went there to perform a year ago or so. We heard how energetic and badass the crowd were. So we are really looking forward to deliver our doze of old school speed metal in the land of mighty Himalaya and also eagerly waiting to meet all these maniacs and see 'em bangin' their freakin' neck against the wall and obviously some freestyle marital art moves in the pit. Haha (chuckles).

Eumsn - Can I get a short biography on band? And what is the meaning of Mustang means to the band?
MustangWell, MUSTANG means wild untamed horse. When we decide to form a ol' school heavy/speed metal band the very first name that struck our mind is this. It's sounding heavy and it portrays the true spirit of ourselves. We are free, we are reckless and on a loose.

MUSTANG was formed nearly 4 years back but from the very beginning we are struggling with a solid and dedicated line up. People came, people went and it took us nearly 3 years to find the suitable guys for this band who wants to play ol' school heavy/speed metal from their heart and sworn to bring back the golden and thunderous days of 80's true spirit of metal. MUSTANG is,
MANIAC on Drums.
THUNDERBASTARD on Bass.
STYX and SORCERER on Axe duties.
PIERCER on Vocals.

We released our first single called, "TERROR STRIKER" almost one year back and it gathered huge responses not only from India but mainly from the N/S America and Europe underground scene.

Then after few months we released our second demo single, "BLACK STEEL" and it also received a good response. Our both of the song got aired on the famous U.S.A  metal radio station 'METAL MESSIAH' and it's a huge honor for a small band like us who just started their musical quest one years back. Currently we are writing new materials for our upcoming physical release.

Eumsn - What lyrical themes do you use in your songs? Gore, horror, politics, anti-religion etc.
MustangWe don't follow any hard and fast rules while composing song and writing lyrics. We all have different ideas and influences so at first we look after the ideas and if we find it promising enough then we give it a go. We try to go with the flow but mainly we love to dwell on the darker side. Our song lyrics are based on horror, sorcery and witches, gore and evil things but we are also nourishing new different ideas for our physical release.

Eumsn - How it feels to be in a Underground band? And what’s your suggestions to other Underground bands?
MustangUnderground scene is always a true and supreme force when it comes to metal music in general. It's only because of the underground scene lots of bands are still surviving, getting their well deserved recognition and fame and new bands are getting inspiration to make new music. Underground metal scene broke the barrier between musicians and fans. In underground scene there is no place for 'Rockstars' and we all are huge family. This very ideology we respect the most. It's been a huge honor to be a part of this underground metal family, get to know new people's and to fight for the  glory of metal.

Well, we are too small of a band to suggest something to someone. But we believe in making music, giving good performances (which matters the most), staying away from all the negativity as far as you can and most importantly staying humble and grounded. Cause all the musicians we follow or worship as an idols are good and honest human beings at first then a good musician.

Eumsn - In general, extreme metal isn't appreciated by society. What do you have to say about this?
MustangAs the society considers extreme music or extreme lifestyle as a counter culture, which is quite understandable because most people lives a moderate way of life. But then again at the end its a way protesting, overcoming. Yeah it's not appreciated by all.  We are different and it's good to be different and it is not always possible to please everyone. Rather we don't make music keeping the normal people in minds. Only the ones who understand us can feel a connection, and for the rest...

Eumsn - What is your opinion on the current state of extreme underground music?
MustangAs far as I can say, the underground extreme metal scene is still going strong. It is tough to believe that even metal and its audience has managed to uphold the culture. Though situation can be better with a better number of supporters and acceptance so that musicians could get paid for the performances, but we like to look at the brighter side of life and it actually feels great to have bands playing passionately even when there is no money involved (though there could have been a considerable downfall if money did get involved) and a gradual rise in the number of live shows, where live performances were restricted to competitions only few years ago (in Kolkata) and we guess thats just what an artist truly desires for i.e. exposure and a stage to showcase their talent.

Eumsn -  Can you recommend to us some good bands from your place for our readers?
MustangWe consider ourselves very fortunate cause Kolkata underground metal scene is currently going through a great transition and undoubtedly the most richest and versatile (both in terms of musicality) ol' school metal scene in India.
Where you can find bunch of fresh bands. Grindcore bands like Mishanter, ol' school thrash bands like The Neighborhood Thrashers aka TNT and Dreadhammer, Vulgustrike. Total 80's inspired glam/heavy metal bands like Knight and Machate. Extreme war metal bands like Kapala, AR  and many more. Beside that there are bunch of veteran acts like In-human, Armament are still here to grace our scene with great music.

Eumsn - Do you remember the feeling of your first show with Mustang? and how did the crowd reacted to your first show?
MustangYou know there are few moments in everyone's life which we cherished forever and we took all those vivid memories to our graves. Our first live gig was also like the same. We were all pumped up and thrilled at the same time to unleash ourselves for the very first time in front of our loyal supporters and little bit tensed at the same time (which is quite normal we believe). Some different kinds of rush and adrenaline were running through all of our veins. It's actually bit difficult to express all these raw emotions in words. In short it was something that we will never forget. The stage, the thunderous sounds of amplifiers, the screaming of the audiences everything we clearly remember. It was surreal.

The crowd was brilliant. One couldn't ask for a loyal and better audiences. They always supported us from their hearts, made us comfortable and always supplied energy from the front. I guess the most sweetest sound is when all the crowd yelling out your bands name. That is really something.

Eumsn - What do you hate in the current underground scene?
MustangNothing to hate actually. The underground scene is spreading it's wings very steadily. New bands are forming. More and more people are getting connected with metal. Organizers are working their ass off to organize a new show and giving all the audiences their value for money. All this things are sign of positive deeds that everyone are doing. But there is always a place for improvements. If we add more professional approach towards our work I believe we can reach the greater heights in near future.

Eumsn - Lastly, a space for you to share anything Eumsn has forgotten to ask. Please share your thoughts.
MustangWell as we said we are currently thrilled to come down to Nepal and perform before all these crazy metal maniacs for the very first time. Sharpen your Khukri's and take out your spikes and get ready as MUSTANG is on a loose and coming fast to take you all to the glorious realm of 80's speed metal.
You want Speed, we'll shatter every living soul out there with some break neck raw, mean and evil Speeeeeeed metal!!

"Bands often think that once they make a demo and put it online, their inbox will be full of gig offers"

Listen the band here - CxBxFxIxHxFxLxFxRxE

Eumsn -  First of all, thanks a lot for choosing to play in Nepal next. So what are you really looking forward to from Nepali supporters?
Harry - Ah, you needn't thank us, we are very interested to travel to Nepal, and so far we have already received a lot of support online from people based in Nepal. We've been surprised at the level of interest in the band, so it'll be really good to meet people in real life who we've got to know on Facebook, and to see what kind of atmosphere the shows have in Nepal. We'll also be playing shows in India of course, thanks to Vishal and his network of contacts. If anyone wants to take us to a brutal gym and pump some iron with us, let us know, that would be much appreciated (the more raw the better).

Eumsn - Can I get a short biography on band? And what is the meaning of CxBxFxIxHxFxRxe means to the band?
Harry - Yeah the band formed more or less by accident. We were planning to make a kind of goregrind band in which I (Harry) was to play guitar, and another guy we know was going to play drums (later on he was the drummer for Dzhumagaliev and Somnumapnoea). We were talking with a vocalist from Bristol, but at that time Sean wasn't able to play drums in the project so it left Carlos and myself wondering what to do. Neither of us were really proficient in playing, but we decided to do the best we could. According to some it has been one misfortune after another since then, but we carry on.

Catastrophic Blunt Force Intracranial Haemorrhage Fluid Leaking from Ruptured Eardrums.

Eumsn - What lyrical themes do you use in your songs? Gore, horror, politics, anti-religion etc.
Harry - Well we don't have any lyrics so while this makes for a poor answer, it is nothing if not honest. The only religion we endorse is the Church of the Subgenius (spiritual enlightenment guaranteed or triple your money back).

Eumsn - How it feels to be in a Underground band? And what’s your suggestions to other Underground bands?
Harry - Our suggestion would be to learn how to play your instruments properly unless you want to sound like us. Bands often think that once they make a demo and put it online, their inbox will be full of gig offers and messages from people wanting to release an album with them. It's never really like this, being in an underground band is like one long, grueling trek up a faeces covered mountain holding hand over hand onto a shitty, slippery rope. It can be rewarding, but maybe better just to watch Netflix and peruse X-Videos from time to time. For those who really want to tour and play festivals with an underground noise band, be prepared for a lot of set backs, a lot of disinterest and, maybe, just maybe, if you put the work in, a lot of genuinely rewarding moments. The people you meet in this scene are often borderline insane, but they can be incredibly generous, helpful and the friendships you'll make along the way will almost certainly make all the time and effort worth it. Being in this scene isn't for everyone, but those who truly love it and who dedicate themselves to it can have some unique experiences and make some unforgettable tours in a lot of crazy places.

Eumsn - In general, extreme metal isn't appreciated by society. What do you have to say about this?
Harry - Well yeah, for good reason. I mean listen to it. Would your parents really want to listen to this? Would anyone with a sound mind? I don't know. There's certainly something to be said for a link between mental health issues and the enjoyment of blast beats. Perhaps one day there will be a clinical study of this, but until then we must draw our own conclusions.

Eumsn - What is your opinion on the current state of extreme underground music?
Harry - Hard to say, I mean, in some places it is thriving and really alive, in others it is almost completely dead. Some “extreme” music like black metal or some kinds of hardcore seem to be very popular still, and others (like, for example, noisegrind) will pretty much always be obscure and poorly received. This is no issue though, we just do our own thing and when you do meet people that like these sounds, it makes it that little bit more special. Another plus is that often when people go missing in this scene their families never bother reporting it to the police, so with a little time and effort you could theoretically abduct quite a number of people without much risk of detection by the authorities.

Eumsn - Can you recommend to us some good bands from your place for our readers?
HarryAh, not really. The UK doesn't really have any goregrind bands at the moment, I am sad to report. Forgive me if I am wrong, but I haven't come across any others of late. I should give a special mention to Gout, but the scene is far more interesting in Europe, for example the goregrind scene in Budapest is really nice, or further East you have some great bands in St. Petersberg, Russia. Meat Spreader are a fantastic band based in the UK, but I feel a little disingenuous naming them seeing as none of their members are English. Still, a very nice band who we've been fortunate enough to play with, and we're lucky in the United Kingdom to have them based in London, at least for the time being.

Eumsn - Do you remember the feeling of your first show with CxBxFxIxHxFxLxFxRxE? and how did the crowd reacted to your first show?
Harry - Mostly they reacted with bewilderment, or annoyance with how loud everything was. Some of the audience stayed to the end, but most covered their eats (a wise choice, I must say). We felt the gig went well enough, for a first show. The gig itself was in Camden, London, at a venue we like a lot called The Black Heart, and I believe a somewhat overweight woman asked if she could urinate on my face (I declined).  I remember it was also perhaps the only show in which I performed wearing trousers.

Eumsn - What do you hate in the current underground scene?
Harry - The lack of old school goregrind bands, I suppose, and the prevalence of “groovy goregrind.” Some of that stuff is okay, we all appreciate the older CBT material and bands that play in that style, but there is just far too much tupa tupa around calling itself “genuine goregrind.” Genuine goregrind is something of a rarity now, championed by older bands like Pulmonary Fibrosis, who use many blast beats and no pig squealing vocals. Check out bands like Parfumerie from Canada, or Inopexia from Russia. If more bands were around that sounded like this, the scene would be way better. To be clear, we don't sound like this, but that's more through lack of musical skill than by design.

Eumsn - Lastly, a space for you to share anything Eumsn has forgotten to ask. Please share your thoughts.
Harry - No, no, I think you were quite thorough. Thank you for your questions, your interest in the band and for all your support. There are those who dislike our band either because we sound awful or because we've allegedly kidnapped multiple people, but to them I can say just that A: taste in music (and anti-music) is subjective, and B: there's not a shred of evidence to support those accusations. Give praise to “Bob”, listen to old school goregrind and watch Bojack.

Come out to catch the band live at Sick Fest V on 1st of June 2019. All bands merchs, event merchs and early bird tickets will be available in our store at Satdobato or call us at 9808195039 or 9808994835.
