Narsamhar is a Nepali Death Metal Band from Pokhara, Nepal. This afternoon EUSMN sits with the frontman Sagar for a smal chit chat which happens to be as follows..

Vishal / Can you tell us about the journey of your band till date?

Sagar /Narsamhaar , we formed it in 2010. We have 2 recorded songs “God wants my Blood” and “Narabakshi Khukuri”. We attended many gigs within and outside country, At Metal Mayhem we shared stage with Napalam Death, Father of grind core. Still we are in struggling phase, there are many things to do….

Vishal / How it feels to be an underground band?

Sagar / It’s a great experience to be a part of extreme music. This is the only crazy thing I have haha..

Vishal /Well EUMSN would really appreciate if you define your music?

Sagar /You can taste old school to modern Death Metal in Narsamhaar. So we called it “Nepali Death Metal”.

Vishal /Do you like local metal scene out there?

Sagar /About Pokhara Metal scene there are few bands that play Metal. Metal scene here is getting worst day by day because of number of bands and show organiser. Maximum shows are organised by bands effort only.

Vishal / Ok, tell us is there anything yo want to change in Nepali Underground Metal scene?

Sagar /Now a days Nepali underground scene is very huge. Many foreigner bands had come in our country to play. There are so many capable bands with good sound and Heavy. So about the change, I cannot say right now.. When I find I’ll let you know J

Vishal / What are the future plans of Narsamhar?

Sagar /About the future, It is very hard to say as future is uncertain. Lets see we’ll do our best and come up with more Brutal music.

Vishal /We all hate something and it’s a human nature too, what do you hate most?

Sagar /I hate when some cameraman comes so close to take a picture while you are singing and I hate the most uncivilized person like Smoking, spitting in public place.

Vishal / Which is the album you want to take inside your grave?

Sagar /Hahah this is very very very tough to say because I cannot discriminate my other favourite albums ..

Vishal /List of the Nepali Metal Bands that you really appreciate?

Sagar /Like Binaash, Ugrakarma are the band I appreciate.

Vishal /Narsamhar is the only heaviest band in Pokhara, how do you approve this?

Sagar /This only happened because of our hard work. I really thankful to our guitarist and drummer and my little effort made it. I can say we are the only among Metal bands in Pokhara who toured and played numerous places.

Vishal /Lastly, a space for you anything EUMSN have forgotten to ask you can tell us here?

Sagar /I just want to thank to EUMSN for the interview. My last words for people out there keep support Narsamhaar and Metal music.

Yes that was Sagar from Narsamhar, the Heaviest Act from Pokhara and Band to Keep an Eye, I have seen them Live twice. They are HEAVY as FUCK and everytime I see them they reminds me of Fischer and the crew.
